stainless steel wire mesh sample

two months ago , i have one customer from South Africa , he need 500 mesh stainless steel wire mesh sample ,

weave type is plain weave , wire diameter is 0.025mm .

first of all , i send small piece sample , but customer told me material is stainless steel 304 ,not 316 .

i don't understand , 500 mesh material should be 316 ,not 304 . but customer insist on need 304 material .

last week , i send new sample again , it is 400 mesh , wire diameter is 0.025mm . today customer have test sample , result is failure . because my chemistry factor is diffrent from his .may china quality isn't good as European market .finally buyers may has more higher and strict demand .

in common sense , stainless steel has 201 ,304 , 316 ,316L ,321 and so on , it has nickel different .

1> 201 material , it has 0 nickel , so it is more easy corrosion or rust . quality is very bad .

2> 304 material ,it has 8 nickel , it is better than 201 , such as Africa and middle east customer may like to purchase 304 ss mesh , because quality is good , price isn't very expensive .

3> 316 has 10 nickel , life time is almost 15 years . for example , 500 mesh , 0.025mm , 400 mesh ,0.03mm both material is 316 , weave type is plain weave .

4> 316L has 13 nickel , it is best material and most expensive . because nickel has rare metal (silver) .

316L is more anti-corrosion , life time is almost 20 years .

5> 321 has 9 nickel , but it is a bit different from 304 , because expect nickel , it also has Ti (9%) ,

it is more anti-higher temperature . stable feature is more strong .

last week , i send cargo to Canada customer , he need 110 mesh , size: 1.60m*30m/roll . 

i think that he will receive cargo next week , he will check quality . waiting for customer feedback .
